How to charge gift card cards using Scanner App

Scanning a customer card or searching for a customer

  1. Upon successful login, tap the Scan button.

  1. This initiates the scan process by opening the camera of your mobile device. If this is the first time, the scanner app will ask you to allow permission to access your device camera.

  1. You can also click on the search button and enter the customer’s information. You can search customers by Name, Phone number, Email, and Card Serial Number.

Redemption of gift card

After successful scanning, the gift card will be displayed in the scanner application. Use the +/- buttons at right and left side of the counter or you can also enter the amount to be redeemed using the keyboard — just click on the field that shows '0' and type in the number of points to be redeemed. Once enter , click the Redeem points button.

Redeem points

A confirmation window will appear. Double-check the number of points, and if needed, you can add a comment (this won’t be visible to the client). Then click the 'Redeem' button and confirm the transaction.

Point redemption depends on the card settings. If the card is set to one-time use, you won’t be able to redeem only part of the balance — the full point balance will be redeemed in one transaction.

Adding Funds to a Gift Card

Use the +/- buttons at right and left side of the counter or you can also enter the amount to be redeemed using the keyboard — just click on the field that shows '0' and type in the number of points to be redeemed. Once enter , click the Add points button.

A confirmation window will appear. Double-check the number of points, and if needed, you can add a comment (this won’t be visible to the client). Then click the 'Add' button and confirm the transaction. Click done to complete the transaction.

✅ Please note: The scanner always shows the current information on the client card and the information about the client (the one that the client specified when installing the card).

You can find this information on the scanner screen, just below the transaction buttons. It includes client details (such as the information they provided when installing their card), as well as card-specific data like current point balance, card installation date, date of the last accrual, and more. The exact information displayed may vary depending on the type of card.
