# Connecting LC Starter to Boomerangme (Integration 2.0)

This article explains how to connect **GoHighLevel on a Starter plan** with **Boomerangme on an agency plan**.

Key point: unlike **LeadConnector SaaS mode**, where sub-accounts sync automatically based on rules, the **LeadConnector Starter** integration requires connecting sub-accounts **manually**, one by one. It's not complicated (a couple of clicks per account), but it is a manual process. The integration is configured entirely from the Boomerangme dashboard.

> The integrations list also has a separate **LeadConnector SaaS** option — that's a different (automatic) integration. This article covers **LeadConnector Starter**.

### Step 1. Agency-level authorization

This is a one-time setup that links your Boomerangme agency account with your GoHighLevel agency account.

1. Log in to your Boomerangme agency dashboard under the `app.boomerangme.cards` domain.
2. Go to **Agency → Settings → Integrations**.
3. In the **Add integration** block, select **LeadConnector Starter** (the second item in the list — it corresponds to the Starter plan in GHL) and click **Connect**.

4. The GoHighLevel **Select an Account** window will open.

   > At this step, **it doesn't matter which GHL sub-account you select** — this is purely a technical action required to complete the agency's OAuth authorization. It does not link a specific sub-account to a specific client.
5. After authorization you'll see a **Pending** status, then success. If the integration doesn't appear right away, refresh the page.
6. The new integration will appear in the **Active integrations** list with an **Inactive** status — it has been created but not yet activated.

   Opening this entry will show the **Integration setup** page with the connected GHL location ID and synchronization status:

7. Click **Activate** to turn on the integration — the status will change to **Active**.

Agency-level setup is now complete. **No automatic sub-account synchronization happens at this stage** — this is the main difference from SaaS mode.

### Step 2. Connecting a specific sub-account (client)

For a specific merchant's data to sync with their GHL location, the integration needs to be set up separately inside their sub-account — and this needs to be repeated for every client.

1. Open the relevant sub-account in Boomerangme (e.g., "Joe's Pizza").
2. Go to **Settings → Integrations**.
3. Click **Connect** next to **LeadConnector Starter**.

4. In the GoHighLevel account selection window that opens, this time select **the specific GHL location that corresponds to this client** (e.g., "Joe's Pizza Broadway" for the "Joe's Pizza" sub-account in Boomerangme).
5. You'll see **Pending**, then **Success** — the integration for this sub-account has been created, with status **Inactive** and a **Configure** button available.

6. Click **Configure** to finish setting up the integration. In the **Integration configuration** window:
   * **Sync with card** — select the loyalty card you want to sync (e.g., "Joe's Pizza / Reward").

   * **Data priority** — choose which system's data takes priority in case of a conflict: **Boomerangme** or **Integration** (GHL). In the example from the video, **Integration** is selected.
   * Check the **Send cards data to integration** checkbox so card data is pushed to GHL.

7. Click **Submit**.

Done — the integration between this Boomerangme sub-account and the corresponding GHL location is now set up. Repeat Step 2 for each additional client.

### What happens in GoHighLevel after connecting

You can check the result directly inside the GHL sub-account:

#### 1. Contact custom fields (Settings → Custom Fields)

Custom fields on the **Contact** object are created automatically, for example:

* **Digital Wallet Customer ID**
* and other fields with the **Digital Wallet...** prefix

> Note: all fields are intentionally named using "**Digital Wallet**," with no mention of "Boomerang" anywhere — this is part of the integration's White Label design; field names are fully neutral.

#### 2. The "Rewards" menu item in the GHL sub-account

The GHL sub-account's side menu includes a **Rewards** item (and a test version, **Rewards DEV**) that opens the Boomerangme dashboard directly inside the GHL interface.

* **The first time** you open "Rewards" in a given sub-account, you need to manually select/confirm which Boomerangme sub-account it should be linked to.
* After that, the link is saved, and the menu item will open the correct dashboard directly going forward.

### Summary

* The integration is set up on two levels: once at the agency level (authorization), plus separately for each sub-account (linking the specific GHL location + selecting a card).
* Unlike LeadConnector SaaS mode, there is **no automatic sub-account synchronization** here — only manual, one-by-one connection.
* After setup, GHL gains contact custom fields (with neutral "Digital Wallet..." names) and a **Rewards** menu item that embeds the Boomerangme dashboard directly into the GHL interface.

*Note: in the video's comments, a user asks how to set up the "Rewards" (and "Rewards DEV") menu item itself in GoHighLevel — i.e., how to add that custom menu link. Based on the video, this menu item already existed beforehand, and the process of adding it is not shown — only the first-time linking to a sub-account. If this question needs to be answered separately, it would require either a dedicated video/clarification from the developers, or manual verification in the interface.*
