🚀Mini games

Creating a "Wheel of Fortune" Mini Game

The Mini games section lets you create an interactive wheel game. The customer opens it using a link or a QR code. They complete an action you choose (for example, leave a review). Then they get a chance to win a prize — a coupon they can add to their wallet.

How it works:

  1. The customer opens the link or scans the QR code, then spins the wheel.

  2. To play, they must complete the action you chose — for example, leave a Google review.

  3. The winner adds a one-time coupon to their wallet.

Step 0. The Mini Games Section

Open the Mini games section in the side menu. If you have no games yet, the list will be empty. Click Create mini game.

Step 1. Game Type

After you create the game, a setup wizard opens with 4 steps: Game type → Settings → Modals → Design. There is also a Save button and a live preview on the right. The preview shows a phone with Inactive status — this changes once the game is activated.

  • Use the top-left field to name the game (in this example — "Wheel of Fortune").

  • Choose the game type — Wheel of Fortune — and click Continue.

Step 2. Settings

Action (the action to get a prize)

  • Action — a dropdown list. It sets what the customer must do to get a chance to spin the wheel (in this example — Google review).

  • Review link — the link to the review form. The customer will be sent to this link to leave a review.

Play Frequency

This sets how often the same customer can play. Choose a period by clicking a button: Once, Once a day, Once a week, Once a month, Once a year. You can change this setting at any time.

Working hour

This sets the time limits for when the game is available ("if you don't set any hours, the game is available all the time"). The time uses the time zone from your account profile.

  • From / Till fields (for example, 09:00–18:00).

  • Checkboxes for the days of the week.

  • Add button — you can add more than one time range.

  • Trash icon — delete a time range.

Prizes

This is the list of prizes (wheel sectors) and their win chance. For each prize:

  • Enter a name for the prize and add an icon. You can see how it will look in the preview on the right. The counter next to the name (for example, 8/20) shows the maximum name length.

  • Arrows ↑↓ — change the order of the sectors on the wheel. Trash icon — delete a prize.

  • Prize color and Text color — the color of the sector and the color of its text.

  • Dropdown for the prize typeNothing (no real prize, just text on the sector, for example "Try again" / "No luck") or Coupon — when you choose this, a second dropdown appears where you pick the exact coupon to give (in this example — "Coupon for 1st visit").

  • Slider and % field — the win chance for this sector. You can set a win chance for each prize. You can change all of this at any time, even after the game is live.

In this example, the wheel has 4 sectors: Surprise (coupon), Try again, Free dessert, No luck. Their win chances add up to exactly 100%.

Below the prize list, there is an indicator that shows the total: "100% / 100% — ready to go". If the total is not 100%, a Fix it button appears, and the Settings tab at the top turns red as an error signal. Click Fix it and the win chances will be shared out automatically. You can change this at any time, even after the game is active.

Page Meta

  • Page title — the page title shown in the browser and on social media (for example, "Fortune wheel demo").

  • Page description — the page description (for example, "Try your luck, turn the wheel!").

Terms and conditions

This field is for a link to your terms of use. This link will show on the game page, so the customer can read the rules. You need to write the terms text yourself — there is no ready-made template.

Click Continue to go to the next setup step, Modals.

Step 3. Modals

Here you can set up the text for all the pop-up windows the player sees at different steps of the game. Click on each window to see how it will look in the preview:

  • Before the game — shown first, asks the customer to complete the action before spinning.

  • Action reminder — shown if the customer skips the action — a second nudge before the spin.

  • Waiting for validation — shown right after the action while the review is being verified.

  • Win — shown when the spin lands on a coupon prize.

  • Lose — shown when the spin wins nothing.

  • Already played — shown when the customer opens the game before they can play again.

  • Closed — shown outside the working hours — tells the customer when the game opens again.

Using the Before the game window as an example, here are the fields found in every modal:

  • Headline — the title (for example, "Quick question before playing...").

  • Body text — the main text (for example, "Did you enjoy your visit? A quick Google review would be greatly appreciated! ❤️ Takes 10 seconds to leave one, then come back here and spin the wheel!").

  • Confirm button label — the text on the confirm button (for example, "Leave a review").

  • Skip button label — the text on the skip button/link (for example, "I'd rather skip this step.").

Then click Continue to go to the next step, Design.

Step 4. Design

Here you can set up the colors and interface the way you want.

Marquee

You can change, add, or delete the text in the running line at the top of the game page — a list of short phrases with emoji (for example: 🍀 Try your luck, ✅ 100% FREE, 🎁 Gifts to win, 🍀 GOOD LUCK, 🏆 It's a gift, 🎮 PLAY NOW). You can see all changes right away in the preview on the right.

Headline

This is the main text above the wheel (for example, "Try your luck, Turn the Wheel!"). You can see all changes right away in the preview on the right.

You can upload a logo if you want (if you don't upload one, the game name is shown instead). You can see all changes right away in the preview on the right.

Colors

In this block, you can change the color scheme of the game interface:

  • Color preset — a ready-made theme (for example, Christmas or Café), or Custom — set your own color for each element.

  • Background gradient start / end — the start and end color of the page background gradient.

  • Text — the color of the title/interface text.

  • Wheel border — the color of the wheel's border.

  • Pointer — the color of the arrow above the wheel.

  • Button — the color of the GO button.

  • Marquee background and Marquee text — the colors of the running line at the top and its text.

You can see all changes right away in the preview on the right.

Activating the Game

After you fill in all 4 steps correctly (Game type, Settings, Modals, Design), the tabs at the top turn green. This is a signal that you can save and activate the game.

  1. Click Save.

  2. You will see a notification: "Mini game activated." The status in the preview changes to Active. The Activate button becomes gray (inactive) — you don't need to activate the game again.

  3. A Test game window will open: "The game is activated. Open it in test mode to check how it works: such a play is not counted in the statistics and does not use up the prizes." It has two buttons: Test and Close.

Testing the Game

When you click Test, the game page opens with a TEST MODE label. This page looks exactly like what your customers will see. You can try it out.

On this step, the game creation is finished. In the Mini games section, you will see the game you created. You can edit it, stop it, or delete it.

Game Statistics

Each game you create has its own statistics page.

On this page, you can see the game's statistics, get the game link, and share it online (for example, on social media). You can also download the QR code, print it, and place it somewhere — for example, on guest tables or at the front desk.

The statistics show these metrics: Plays, Claim rate, Wins, Losses, Claims, Expired, Reviews completed, Reviews skipped.

Scroll down a little on the page, and you will see a separate table for prizes: Prize / Plays / Claims — statistics for each wheel sector.

How to Find a Customer Who Won

If a customer wins a coupon, a new tab with this coupon appears in their profile (Customer profile). This card has a UTM block with the label game and the ID of the exact game. You can use this label to tell cards given out through the mini game apart from other cards.

Games Add-on Cost

  • You activate it once, and it becomes available for the agency and all of its sub-accounts.

  • The price is $99 per month, purchased as an add-on to your current subscription.

  • When you activate it, the amount is calculated proportionally: you only pay for the time left until the end of your current subscription period.

  • If you have a quarterly or annual subscription, the extra charge for Games is calculated as $99 × the number of months left in your period — you can't choose a separate term for Games; it always matches your main subscription period.

  • Starting from your next payment, Games is included in your invoice at the full price for the whole period.
