# UTM Links

## UTM Links

UTM links let you track which channels bring customers to your loyalty card. Each UTM link generates a unique URL and QR code tied to a specific source — so you can see exactly where your cardholders are coming from.

You can create as many UTM links as you want on a single card. There is no need to duplicate the card for different channels.

### How It Works

When you create a UTM link for a channel (for example, Instagram), Boomerangme generates a unique URL and QR code for that channel. When a customer installs the card through that link, the system records which channel they came from.

You can then see in the card statistics how many customers installed the card through each UTM link — and compare which distribution channel performs best.

**Example:**

* You create a UTM link called **Instagram** and place the QR code in your Instagram stories.
* You create another UTM link called **VIP Client** and share it with a specific customer to distribute to their friends.
* In statistics, you will see separately how many people installed the card from Instagram and how many came through the VIP Client referral.

### How to Create a UTM Link

UTM links are configured in the **Settings** section during card creation or editing, under the **UTM** block.

1. Enter a name for the channel in the UTM field (for example: Facebook, Instagram, Flyer, Window QR).
2. Click **Add**.
3. Boomerangme will generate a unique URL and QR code for that channel.

Once created, you will see the unique link and QR code for each channel. Share the link or print the QR code for each distribution channel separately.

### Per-UTM Image and Title on the Enrollment Form

Each UTM link can display its own **title** and **image** on the card enrollment (installation) form. This means every campaign gets a sign-up page that matches its creative — without creating separate cards.

**Example:** Your Instagram campaign shows a summer-themed banner and the headline "Summer Loyalty Offer", while your in-store QR shows your standard logo and "Join our loyalty program".

#### How to Set It Up

1. In the UTM block, find the UTM link you want to customize.
2. Click the settings icon next to the link.
3. Upload an **image** for the enrollment form.
4. Enter a custom **title** that will appear on the enrollment form for this UTM link.
5. Save.

When a customer opens the enrollment form through this specific UTM link, they will see the custom title and image you set — instead of the default card design.

{% hint style="info" %}
If no custom image or title is set for a UTM link, the enrollment form will display the default card logo and card name.
{% endhint %}

### Viewing UTM Statistics

To see how many customers installed the card through each UTM link, go to the card statistics in the **Cards** section.

You will be able to see the number of installs broken down by UTM tag — helping you identify which distribution channels work best.

You can also create customer segments based on UTM tags to send targeted push notifications to customers who came from a specific channel.
{% endhint %}
